Jayhawk Blueprint students benefit from a discounted tuition rate, set at one-third of KU’s current undergraduate tuition. The current tuition rate for Jayhawk Blueprint students is $103 per credit hour. Most Jayhawk Blueprint courses are 3 to 5 credit hours, so tuition per course typically ranges from $309 to $515. Textbooks

All required textbooks and classroom materials are provided at no cost to Jayhawk Blueprint students. Depending on the course, students may also need access to a computer and reliable internet to complete course activities and assignments.

Tuition Waivers

Students attending Lawrence Public Schools who qualify for free or reduced-price meals are eligible for a full or partial tuition waiver for their Jayhawk Blueprint course(s), made possible by generous support from the Lawrence Schools Foundation and Truity Credit Union. Bill Payment Process

Once a student is officially enrolled in a Jayhawk Blueprint course at KU, tuition charges will be added to their financial account in Enroll & Pay. Payment is due on the 15th of the month following enrollment, typically October 15th for fall semester and March 15th for spring semester. Students and their parents or guardians will receive email notifications once tuition is posted, including information about the amount due and the payment deadline. 

Students have several options for paying their tuition bill: online through Enroll & Pay, in person using the dropbox at Carruth-O’Leary, or by mail. Detailed payment instructions are available at: blueprint.ku.edu/pay-your-bill. Please note that failing to pay by the due date will result in non-refundable late fees and enrollment holds on the student’s account. Full payment is required before enrolling in future Jayhawk Blueprint courses or any other KU courses.

Note: MATH 101, BIOL 100/102, and ARAB 110 and 120 are year-long courses taught throughout the fall and spring semesters. Therefore, tuition for these courses is charged only in the fall.

To avoid missing important billing information, students should check their KU email regularly and consider forwarding their KU email to an account they check frequently.
