Dr. Millinda Fowles

Hi, I’m Millinda. I’m the Director for Academic Programs. I oversee first year courses (first year seminars and UNIV courses) and Jayhawk Blueprint (KU’s concurrent enrollment program), and work alongside faculty to oversee KU Core 34, KU's general education curriculum. My overarching role is to design, deliver, and assess courses and programs that create communities for students to explore, learn, and grow personally, professionally, and academically.

I believe our students are world changers. In my role, I have the privilege of collaborating with faculty and staff dedicated to designing and delivering innovative academic programs that prepare students to thrive in the workforce and respond to the complexities of a changing world.
