Tutoring at KU
The KU Center for Learning and Writing Support offers free, course-specific tutoring services to students enrolled in Jayhawk Blueprint courses. Tutoring is available through one-on-one appointments either in person at Anschutz Library or virtually via Zoom. Students can schedule a meeting with a tutor to help them understand course concepts and problems covered in their Jayhawk Blueprint course(s). Course availability may vary by semester, but typically includes MATH 101 and BIOL 100/102. For more information and to schedule an appointment, visit: https://learningandwriting.ku.edu/individual-tutoring.
Please note, you will need your KU Online ID and password to schedule an appointment. If you need help accessing this information, contact the Jayhawk Blueprint office at blueprint@ku.edu or 785-864-0934.

Writing Support at KU
The KU Writing Center provides free writing support to all students enrolled in a Jayhawk Blueprint course. Peer writing consultants can assist students with writing assignments for any class at any stage of the process from brainstorming to revision. This service is particularly beneficial for students taking ENGL 101/102 or COMS 130, in addition to other Jayhawk Blueprint courses that involve writing.
They offer three different types of writing consultation appointments to meet you at your point of need:
- Face-to-Face Consultations allow you to meet with a peer writing consultant in-person at our Anschutz Library location. These appointments work well for all stages of the writing process.
- Videoconference Appointments allow you to meet in real-time with a consultant online, using video, voice and text chat. These appointments work well for all stages of the writing process.
- eTutoring appointments allow you to upload a draft of your essay and get written feedback via email. These appointments are best for later in the writing process when you have a written draft; this option doesn’t work well for brainstorming or when you need to ask the consultant a lot of questions.
For more information about their writing consultation options and to schedule an appointment, visit How Consultations Work.
Please note, you will need your KU Online ID and password to schedule an appointment. If you need help accessing this information, contact the Jayhawk Blueprint office at blueprint@ku.edu or 785-864-0934.
