Enrollment and Admissions Process Checklist

1. Enroll in Jayhawk Blueprint Course(s) at Your High School
To enroll in Jayhawk Blueprint course(s) at your high school, meet with your high school counselor during the typical enrollment period. Generally, students must be an incoming junior or senior to enroll in a Jayhawk Blueprint course.
Upon successfully completing your Jayhawk Blueprint course(s), you will earn both high school and college credit. All Jayhawk Blueprint courses offered through Lawrence Public Schools can be transferred seamlessly to other public 2-year and 4-year colleges or universities within the state of Kansas.

2. Complete the Required Jayhawk Blueprint Sign-Up Form or Application
To be officially enrolled in your Jayhawk Blueprint course(s) for the Fall 2026 semester and receive KU/college credit, you must complete one of the following enrollment steps by Friday, September 4:
- If you took a Jayhawk Blueprint course in Spring 2026, you must complete the Jayhawk Blueprint Enrollment Sign-Up Form.
- If you did NOT take a Jayhawk Blueprint course in Spring 2026 or have never taken a Jayhawk Blueprint course, you must fill out the FREE KU Non-Degree Seeking Student Application through the KU Admissions Office. Please note: even if you have already submitted a degree-seeking application to KU, you must still complete the non-degree seeking application to be enrolled in a Jayhawk Blueprint course.

3. Wait for the Jayhawk Blueprint Team to Enroll You in Your Course(s) at KU
Once you are enrolled in your Jayhawk Blueprint course(s) at your high school and have submitted the required enrollment form or application by the deadline, the Jayhawk Blueprint team will enroll you in your course(s) at KU - no additional action is needed from you. IMPORTANT: Your KU enrollment can only be processed if you have a zero tuition and fees balance at KU. Please note: the Jayhawk Blueprint team will enroll students for the current semester only, with the exception of students in MATH 101, BIOL 100/102, and ARAB 110/120 who will be enrolled in their KU courses for the full academic year.

4. Use Your Assigned KU ID Number to Set Up Your KU Online ID
Once you are accepted to KU as a non-degree seeking student, your 7-digit KU ID number will be sent to you by the KU Admissions Office via standard mail (this could take a couple of weeks, so be patient). Please keep this number in a safe place for future reference. You can also access your KUID number online by visiting: admissions.ku.edu/status and using the same login information you used for your non-degree seeking student application. If you need help accessing your KU ID number, contact your high school counselor or the Jayhawk Blueprint office at blueprint@ku.edu or (785) 864-0934.
Once you have your KU ID number, you will use it to create your KU Online ID, which serves as your official username and password for accessing important online accounts at KU, such as Enroll and Pay, email, and transcripts. To set up your KU Online ID and password, go to: myidentity.ku.edu/setup/login and follow the instructions.
If you have already set up your KU Online ID but need help accessing it, you may contact our office for assistance. If you have forgotten your password or it has expired, you can recover or change it online at: myidentity.ku.edu/services/. For additional assistance with your password, please contact the KU IT Help Desk at (785) 864-8080 or ithelpdesk@ku.edu.

5. Access and Pay Your Tuition Bill by October 15 for Fall 2026 Classes
Jayhawk Blueprint students benefit from a discounted tuition rate set at one-third of KU’s current undergraduate tuition. For the 2026-2027 school year, the anticipated tuition is $113 per credit hour – 70% less than standard in-state tuition at KU. To determine the cost of a Jayhawk Blueprint course, multiply the number of credit hours of a course by $113. More information about tuition is available online at: https://blueprint.ku.edu/tuition-information.
After your enrollment is processed by a Jayhawk Blueprint staff member at KU, tuition will be applied to your account in Enroll & Pay by September 21. Fall 2026 tuition will be due by October 15th. Tuition can be paid online through Enroll & Pay (sa.ku.edu), in person using at Carruth-O’Leary, or by mail. Please note that failing to pay by the due date will result in non-refundable late fees and an enrollment hold on your account. Information on bill payment can be accessed online at: blueprint.ku.edu/pay-your-bill.
We highly recommend forwarding your KU email to an account you check frequently (not your school email address) because important emails regarding your tuition bill and deadlines will be sent to your KU email account. For more information about forwarding your KU email, visit: https://blueprint.ku.edu/email.
Lastly, we strongly encourage all students to set up delegate access for a parent/guardian, especially if they plan to pay your tuition bill. This allows them to communicate with KU staff and access the bill pay systems. Learn more about how to set up delegate access for your parent/guardian here: https://blueprint.ku.edu/designate-a-delegate.
